Pudsey In Bloom

Pudsey In Bloom is a community group formed in 2003. Our aim is to make Pudsey a more attractive place for residents and visitors and to encourage everyone to take pride in their environment. Along the way we would like to improve on the permanent planting and aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. 2008 was our first entry in the Yorkshire In Bloom Competition and we won SILVER! Thanks to Robert...

Robert has been chair of Pudsey In Bloom for a number of years but has now decided to step down from his role, the group would like to thank him for all the work he has put in and reminded him he will still be `on call`!

More funding ....this time thanks to Asda

On our group Christmas social we were presented with 2 cheques from Asda, £50 for entering their community funding public vote, and also a fantastic additional £300, thanks especially to Sandra Deakin from Asda who nominated Pudsey In Bloom as Asda`s preferred charity to events producer Momentum.

We have plans to spend this money on the adjacent piece of land to the one we are currently developing by the leisure centre, it definitely needs working on! Here is what it looks like now:

Tidy Tuesdays and Sundays:

Look out for our group out and about in Pudsey on Tuesdays, usually from around 10.00am. Please come and ask us about our work, we welcome new volunteers.

Group Meetings:

Last Thursday of the month ...Jan through to July ...meet at 6.30pm at Pudsey Leisure Centre.
